How to Build Core Strength – Simple Breathing Exercises

Core training does two things, it helps you look slimmer, it supports your spine and helps with balance. I noticed when I started doing Yoga and a lot of core engagement that it got easier to ride my motorcycle( motocross ). Core muscles ares connected to your legs and impact all that you do.  It’s not just about the abdominal muscles, but also your back, glutes, and the all that supports the spin. The KEY to building core strength is so that the burden of supporting your body weight isn’t just placed on your bones.

The core is actually made up of three sheaths of muscles: Transverse Abdominals, Internal Obliques, External Obliques, and Rectus Abdominals. Those deep muscles ( Transverse ) are the ones that do all the good stuff, like support your spine and act as a natural corset—so when you work them not only do you get a flatter stomach but a tighter stomach.

In this video, Damon demonstrates how to get abs with simple breathing exercises. Proper breathing technique is a great way to build core strength, prevent injury, and reduce stress.

These abdominal breathing exercises are perfect for times when you don’t have
the time or energy for a full ab workout, or when you’re recovering
from childbirth, surgery or injuries. It’s a safe, simple way to get
great abs.

Enjoy!
